iTravel was a new business with no existing IT infrastructure. The business owner needed a way to centrally manage users and computers without relying on traditional, clunky onsite equipment. Additionally, they required a phone system that allowed them to operate internationally, beyond just Australia. Ensuring robust security for email communication was also a priority.

Smarterdata delivered a comprehensive cloud-based solution using Microsoft 365 and 3CX to meet iTravel’s requirements, incorporating additional layers of management and security:

Entra ID/Azure AD:

We implemented cloud-based identity management to securely manage users and devices from any location, ensuring easy user authentication and access control

Windows Autopilot:

We used Autopilot to pre-configure devices, allowing new laptops to be shipped and set up by end users with minimal IT intervention, speeding up the onboarding process and reducing setup time.

Exchange Online:

This provided reliable email services with enhanced security features, improving communication and collaboration.

Intune (Endpoint Manager):

Intune enabled seamless device management and security, ensuring that all laptops and devices were deployed remotely without the need for onsite equipment.

3CX Phone System:

By implementing the 3CX cloud-based phone system, iTravel gained the flexibility to operate globally, communicating with clients and partners without being restricted to Australia.

Defender for Business:

For email protection, we deployed Defender for Business to safeguard iTravel ’s communications from phishing, malware, and other threats, ensuring the highest level of security for their email infrastructure.
